JULES LELEU 1883-1961 French interior designer of the twentieth century One of his finest achievements
 
 Rare CABINET BUFFET in Rio rosewood veneer opening on the front with 3 doors decorated with bouquets of flowers all different in mother-of-pearl and ebony marquetry made by Le Messager (Marquetry, collaborator of Jules Leleu and Maurice Jallot then trainer at the Boulle school in Paris) Mahogany interior composed of shelves and drawers. Front feet in solid rosewood. Gilded bronze fittings. Magnificent veining of Rio rosewood.
