Maurice JALLOT born in 1900 son of Léon JALLOT French cabinetmakers decorators of the 20th century.
Rare chest of drawers by Maurice Jallot from the 1940s in wavy blond mahogany veneer, the front and sides inlaid with diamonds arranged in opposite threads. The facade is curved in an arch, it opens with 2 doors and 4 drawers, interior in ash veneer, the bottom crosspiece is curved and underlined with a molding and a gilt bronze rod, the saber legs with hoof endings in gilt bronze, the uprights are curved and underlined with a gilt bronze rod. Drawer handles and door fittings in gilded bronze. Oak drawer interiors. The sides underlined in the lower part by a mahogany molding.
All in excellent condition.
