Rare cabinet by Maurice Jallot in ash and sycamore veneer. Magnificent granite gilded bronze garniture by the French sculptor Léon Drivier , collaborator of Maurice Jallot, representing a woman's subject, chopsticks, clogs and keyholes in gilt bronze.
The cabinet is in ash veneer of thread & inlay with opposing threads of ash on the doors. It opens on the front with 2 doors, the interiors are in sycamore veneer and include 6 shelves and 8 compartments, the central frame is very slightly arched, the upper part is slightly recessed and is highlighted with a gilt bronze rod, the lower part, which is slightly recessed, is underlined by an ash molding, the 4 unhooked spinning-top feet end in gilded bronze shoes. The doors are highlighted with an ash molding.
The set is in excellent condition, restored varnish
