Rare Pair of Cabinets by Maurice Jallot circa 1940-1945, probably made to order, in ash and sycamore veneer. Magnificent granite gilded bronze fittings by the French sculptor Léon Drivier, collaborator of Maurice Jallot, representing 2 subjects of kneeling women facing each other, chopsticks, clogs and keyholes in gilt bronze. The cabinets are in ash veneer and open on the front with 2 doors, the interiors are in sycamore veneer and include 4 shelves each, the upper and lower parts of the 2 cabinets are very slightly arched.
The cabinets are numbered on the backs 1 and 2 as well as the doors.
The set is in excellent condition, varnished restored
