Chiparus Demetre Famous Sculptor of the Art Deco period of Romanian origin 1886-1947 He is mainly known for his sculptures in bronze & Chyselephantines in bronze and ivory representing exotic dancers. His most notable works are between 1915 & 1935. He is also known as Demeter Chiparus.

Rare and Important Sculpture model Phoenician Dancer in its largest dimension in gilded bronze and polychrome patinas richly decorated with enamelled jewels, base in portor marble and onyx.
