RAYMOND DELAMARRE 1890-1986 Famous French sculptor of the twentieth century
Student of Coutan at the School of Fine Arts in Paris / 1st Prix de Rome in 1919 on par with the famous French sculptor Alfred Janniot / He participated in the major International exhibitions from 1925 to 1937 / He contributed to the decoration of the liner Normandie / He would later become a teacher at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris / He produced a large number of sculptures for historical monuments and he is widely represented in museums.
Very rare & important Model Sculpture " Woman with Dove " made of white Carrara statuary marble.
Art Deco period 1927
